Your Complete Guide to Kwik Fit Tyre Servicing

Kwik Fit is our supplier of choice for any tyre queries. We would like to remind all drivers and fleet managers of the Kwik Fit process and what they can expect from a booking.

To avoid long waits and ensure your specific tyres are in stock, we strongly recommend booking your appointment in advance. Walk-in appointments may be turned away or face delays.

What to Expect at Your Kwik Fit Appointment

When you arrive, a Kwik Fit representative will give you a time estimate. If the work is expected to take longer than one hour, you’ll be given the choice to wait or return later.

Should you not want to wait or you wish to minimise downtime, you can use the Kwik Fit Mobile booking service simply by following the online booking portal; Fleet Bookings | Kwik Fit.

Tyre Health Checks and Authorisation

All fleet vehicles must have a tyre health check before any work begins. The Kwik Fit representative will assess the work required and forward this on for authorisation. The Kwik Fit Fleet team will electronically authorise the work on our behalf. This step is a requirement, and JCT600 VLS does not have any control over the speed at which it is authorised.

Service Time and Stock

Most appointments take 1-2 hours, though this can vary due to availability of parts and staffing levels. When you pre-book, Kwik Fit will order in the specific tyres you require for your vehicle.

If you do not have a booking and are classified as a walk-in, it is not guaranteed that the Kwik Fit branch will have the appropriate tyres your vehicle needs. Therefore, they will need to order them for you, delaying the replacement and requiring you to book an appointment.

We would recommend using the online booking portal due to it taking the details of the tyres required and directing you to the nearest branch based on your postcode but all also staffing availability.

Emergency Tyre Replacement

Please note that Kwik Fit is not an emergency response. If a driver requires an urgent tyre replacement, they should contact their breakdown provider (detailed in their Driver Guide). The priority will always be to get the vehicle mobile, which may require a follow up booking with Kwik Fit.
