New Advisory Fuel Rates Published: June 2021

The new advisory fuel rates have been released by the HMRC.

These rates will apply from the 1st of June 2021.

A number of changes are included, for example the below are all up by a penny:

  • Petrol engine up to 1401cc (Now 11ppm)
  • Petrol engine 1401cc – 2000cc (Now 13ppm)
  • Petrol engine over 2000cc (Now 19ppm)
  • Diesel with engines over 2,000cc (Now 13ppm)

As well as a number of changes to rates for LPG-powered vehicles. However, the rates for Diesel engines on 1,600cc, 1,601-2,000cc and plug-in cars remain unchained. Hybrids are still to be treated as a petrol or diesel vehicle.
